OTACHI (3) fought on for second last start over 2400m at Nakayama Dirt, making it three minor placings in a row. Strong effort last time in a similar race and expected to go one better. TAISEI KAISER (8) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when third over 2000m at Hanshin Dirt, beaten 2 lengths. Meets some better types this time but he has the talent to test this line-up. DURA ETERNO (7) has been thereabouts since scoring at Kyoto Dirt on November 30, the latest effort a fourth over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. S Hamanaka has won when aboard in the past and gets the ride again. Certainly one to consider. IMPERIAL LINE (1) finished second at this track and distance at his last appearance 11 weeks ago. Worth plenty of thought.
