GONFALONIERE (7) showed early speed from a good draw when resuming last start then battled on well for third, beaten 2 lengths, over 2200m at Nakayama. Nicely placed to go a couple better. LAMBRUSCO (4) is a two-start maiden who finished sixth, beaten 6 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 2000m at Nakayama. Chance to break his maiden status with that run under his belt. FUKYOWAON (10) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 0.6 lengths away in fourth last time out over 2200m at Nakayama after being in the firing line on the turn. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. L'ARC EN REVE (2) has not raced since his debut back on January 18 when he finished tenth over 2000m at Kyoto. Will be better for that run and is expected to go well.
