KADOSAN GAMBARU (8) is the one to beat after a much sharper fourth at this track, beaten a length and a half by Best Of King and making good late ground from an unpromising spot. His record at this track and distance is more about placings than wins, but the latest run gives him the strongest winning platform. SUPERBE LIEN (2) is the danger if she can get back to the effort two starts ago, when third and beaten a length and a half by Marble Tiswa after finishing strongly. The last-start sixth was plain, yet her recent peak measures up well. NISHINO OTOMUSUME (5) has upside second-up after closing off for fourth behind Win Solennel, and her earlier C1 fourth gives her form some depth. YUINO OTOKOYAMA (4) has been holding his form with consecutive top-four runs and brings a solid jockey-horse record, though he looks more a genuine place hope unless he finds a sharper closing effort.
