SUPERB SPIRIT (3) missed as favourite on debut but got the job done last start when winning a $2.50 favourite on the soft track last time out. He's been back to the trials since and he's shown good ability all the way through. Maps beautifully for Purton and can go back-to-back. LUCRATIVE EIGHT (6) has been narrowly beaten in all runs to begin his career, finishing right behind Superb Spirit last time out. He's inching toward his maiden win and gets more in his favour this time around. Wouldn't surprise to see him turn the tables. LEAN FLYER (8) has shown plenty at the trials coming into his debut and he looks set for a bold effort on debut. Bentley has been with him all the way through and with a good map on offer, he can put his best foot forward. INCREDIBLE MOMENT (7) is better than he showed last start and can bounce back getting back onto a firmer deck.
