JEDI SPURS (6) has been very impressive at the trials coming into his debut and Brenton Avdulla sticks from his latest trials. He was a good winner in his latest heat over this course and distance and the exposed form here doesn't look too flash. Happy to put him on top from what we've seen. SHARP PLANET (4) was strong from the front here on debut after some handy trials, only caught late on the wet deck. He failed badly last time over 1200m, but back to this trip may hold the key. Wouldn't surprise to see him bounce back in a big way. QUANTUM WUKONG (7) comes back to 1000m today after settling near the tail and rattling home strongly over further last time out. Not to be discounted on the back of that performance. DRAGON GENERATION (2) looks next best.
