Purton takes the ride now and his recent figures stack up in this field and he can notch up his maiden victory. PERIDOT (13) resumes from a short break but he has trialled three times since his latest effort where he was beaten as the favourite. Still looking for his maiden win, but he's shown positive signs his past couple and another forward showing is on the cards. POLAR PATCH (7) finished off well last time out from well back in the pack following a good performance at a massive price two starts back. Chau is on fire at the moment and he looks to be trending the right way. Can feature in the finish again. MEANINGFUL DRAGON (1) was too good on resumption when leading from a wide barrier and he should be better for that effort. Can build on that performance.
