BUCEPHALAS (5) is a very hard horse to catch, but finally gets a decent gate after enduring a string of wide draws. He won first-up last season and looked sharp in a recent trial, suggesting he is ready to rumble. He maps to receive the run of the race, and goes on top for us. SUPER LOVE (13) showed plenty first-up, working home strongly into fourth over 1200m after covering ground from a wide gate. The step to 1400m looks ideal and he should be very competitive. CIRCUIT FIERY (3) gets the pole position, and should enjoy a soft run behind the speed. He benefits from a very handy 3kg claim, and should help him figure in the top 4 here. LUCKY MAN (8) has been racing in good form since joining Jimmy Ting and the booking of Zac Purton is always a strong lead in these fields. He resumes off a break and, if ready, he can make his presence felt.
