HE WAS ME (8) made solid progress last season, winning twice from his final five starts, and a recent trial suggests he has returned in good order. He looks a serious winning chance. FORTUNE KINGO (10) makes his debut for Douglas Whyte after 12 runs for Jimmy Ting and finally draws a low gate. Jerry Chau partnered him in an encouraging trial and sticks with him, which adds plenty of appeal. MADE FOR LIFE (4) was close up when fourth at his first attempt in Class 5 and resumes off another solid trial. Zac Purton takes over and he looks ready to break through. DOUBLE BINGO (3) won over this course and distance last start and has generally raced well fresh despite never winning first-up. He rates highly again. SPEEDY TRIDENT (14) was finishing his last campaign strongly with placings at his final two starts, including one over this track and trip. He can return with a bold showing.
