GWANAKSAN SKY (8) is the one to beat after stringing together wins at this track, the latest by two lengths as a well-supported favourite from Queen Dia. His broader record is the major point of difference, with five wins from seven starts overall and a prior win at around 1400m already banked. HYEUKMUSANG (1) brings the clearest threat, having won by a nose here as favourite and carried strong form through a third behind Flying Honor before that. His track-and-distance and jockey record make him a serious danger. BEOLGYOUI STAR (4) has been well beaten at his past two over 1800m, so the sharp response has to come, but four wins at this track keep him in calculations. YONGBI TAEYANG (2) was plain behind Hyeukmusang last start, yet his 1400m record gives him a pathway into the minor end if he rebounds.
