MATENRO SON (5) is back from a spell of nine months. Turned in a fair effort at Tokyo over 1400m at his only run last prep, finishing seventh and beaten 2.25 lengths. Stakes placed two back. Goes very well fresh. Likely to feature. HO O HESSEN (4) raced in the leading division and kept going to score by half a length when resuming last time out over 1200m at Hakodate. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. DEMPSEY (2) raced on the speed and kept going to score by 0.8 lengths when resuming last time out over 1200m at Fukushima. Should be prominent again from the low draw. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. BEL BE STALLONE (10) returned from a spell four weeks ago when she was prominent at the turn before being beaten 2.5 lengths into ninth over 1200m at Hakodate. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
