DANON MIDNIGHT (13) could only manage fourth when resuming at Hanshin two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 2400m at Kyoto, beaten 4.5 lengths. Gets chance. NAMURA ORIGAMI (4) is a six-start maiden who missed the frame first-up but has improved in subsequent runs, finishing in the money last start over 2000m at Fukushima after being in contention on the turn. Big chance to grab a well-deserved win. DIA AZUL (15) showed good early dash last start and held on well to finish 6 lengths back in third over 2200m at this track. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. BRUISER (12) finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in fifth at his most recent outing over 2000m at Kyoto. Worth including in this suitable contest.
