DU MAVERICK (5) made a nice return here when settled off pace and kept coming to finish runner-up. Has placed 2/2 course and distance. Gets chance. BLADE SUCCESS (12) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1800m at this track, finishing second and beaten 1.75 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. FALCON MINORU (13) finds it hard to win with just one success from 18 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1800m at this track. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BREGUET UN (1) returned from a spell three weeks ago when he was beaten 6 lengths into seventh over 1800m at this track. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
