PLAYMAKER (12) improved last time out, finishing a nose from the winner in second at the end of 1800m at this track after being in contention on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. LUSTER VERSE (7) is a three-start maiden who could only manage to finish eighth at her latest appearance over 2000m at NAKAYAMA after she was well back on straightening. Finds a suitable assignment this time and is a great chance to break through. ECORO STORM (5) hit the line nicely to finish fourth, beaten 0.6 lengths, on debut last start over 1800m at this track. Likely to be thereabouts. LEAPING SIGN (8) failed to threaten when fresh from a spell last time out, beaten 10 lengths into 13th over 1800m at NAKAYAMA. Has ability and shapes as a top-three chance.
