SOUNDS AWESOME (13) has not appeared since she raced on the speed on debut back on July 18 and went down narrowly, finishing third over 1800m at Fukushima. Boxed on well to place on debut. Leading rider engaged. This is an ideal race to kick off. Top hope. SUPER YUTAKA (6) has started twice, running a good third on debut then finishing fifth, beaten 6 lengths, last time over 2000m at Niigata. Should settle up near the speed. Strong chance this line-up. TAISEI SOARING (10) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 2000m at Niigata, beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth. Not far away at both starts and form rider engaged. Strong chance to break through. TAKKA VENUS (12) wasn't beaten far over 1600m at Niigata on debut last start and may appreciate the longer journey. Not to be discounted.
