COSMO KURANDA (9) was midfield in this last year but since then has run very well at the top level. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Sure to be in the finish. JUNE TAKE (13) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Scored over 2200m at Kyoto to launch the last campaign. Boasts a first-up record of two wins and three placings from seven starts. Has two wins this level and goes best when fresh. ETHELFLEDA (12) is back from a spell after closing last campaign with a couple of wins. Promising mare facing her toughest test. Has won 4/5 here. Can measure up. PANJA (6) is a course and distance winner resuming. Has the ability to run well.
