RYUNO HILDR (2) finds it hard to win but was in the finish last time when beaten a long neck into third over 850m at Mizusawa. Should park just off the speed. Leading contender. SOURIANTE (3) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing a nose away in second over 850m at Mizusawa. Solid run last time and will take catching again. SHIKI (8) finished 6 lengths away in seventh last time out over 850m at Mizusawa after being prominent at the bend two weeks ago as $1.7 favourite. Tackles a longer journey this time. Has a high cruising speed. Should be involved in the finish. KITANO BLUE HALLEZ (4) ran below expectations last start, finishing seventh and beaten 12 lengths at Mizusawa over 1400m. Should be thereabouts in this suitable race.
