AKAI TSUME (3) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 1400m at Mizusawa. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with two placings from four starts. Should prove tough to beat. SPARKLE GEM (4) broke through for her maiden win over 1200m at this track last time. Looks well placed and she is one of the main chances. SHIRAYURI (8) held on well to finish second last time out over 1200m at this track after leading for much of the way. One of the main contenders. OMEGA JASMINE (9) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a head from the winner in second over 1400m at Mizusawa. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
