Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. SUM SHINE (8) ran below expectations when fresh from a spell at Nakayama Dirt over 1800m last time, finishing tenth and beaten 13 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. SUPERJOCK (7) showed good speed and led for much of the way before being claimed in the straight and fading to finish fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 1800m here last time. Sure to be hard to catch. MEISHO YASHIMA (3) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1800m at this track, beaten 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Fitter so a likely improver.
