A SHIN MARS (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 1400m at this track, beaten a neck. Suitably placed so another win might be on the cards. TAKERU HURLOCK (5) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start third at Chukyo Dirt over 1400m when beaten 0.8 lengths. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Will give a great sight. LA LA BACCHANALE (7) made a nice return two back then met with solid backing but disappointed when sixth over 1200m at Hanshin Dirt eight weeks ago. Better than that and is right in the mix. MOZU TACHIAGARE (14) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, beaten 7 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Fitter so can figure in the finish.
