DANON THAMES (12) found the line nicely last start to get up for third over 1800m at Hanshin when appearing for the first time. Sure to go well with that race experience to prove invaluable. MONCHIQUE (17) resumes from a spell of 12 weeks. Led for the judge then boxed on well to finish fourth at the latest run over 2000m at this track. No surprise if he was able to get off the mark. BLACK SHALIMAR (9) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in third over 2000m at Hanshin. One of the main contenders. RUMBERA (10) has been freshened up since she finished 12th over 1800m at Nakayama eight weeks ago. Well-placed to make amends.
