AIKAN AZZURRA (1) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1000m at this track. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SMASHING (3) led throughout last start to score an effortless 2.5 lengths win over 1000m at this track. One of the top chances again. PREMIERE PAS (10) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish third over 1000m at this track. Hasn't been far away this time in work with three minor placings from five starts. Capable of going well. DRUM MAJOR (9) got off the mark with an impressive maiden win last time out over 1200m at KOKURA. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Kohei Matsuyama who was on board last start. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders.
