DIGNITE (13) hasn't been too far away of late, the latest effort a fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths, at Kyoto Dirt over 1900m. Consistent entire who jumps from a wide gate but otherwise is hard to fault in this field. ROSE MEISTER (14) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 15 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 1700m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. BRISKY (6) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on October 25, finishing fifth and beaten 7 lengths over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. One of the main contenders. KEIAI ALTAIR (3) is back at the races for the first time since December 14. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1500m at Nagoya. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
