Should be there at the business end. DANON ROCKY (7) opened the campaign with a respectable second in a maiden steeplechase (3000m) at Tokyo then last start won in a maiden steeplechase (2880m) at Nakayama by a head. Cannot be left out. COPANO NICHOLSON (4) returned from a layoff last time out in a steeplechase (3200m) at Nakayama, finishing seventh when partnered by today's rider Kayata Komaki. Expecting plenty of improvement. GOLDEN SLOPE (9) returns after two months in the paddock. Kicked off the last prep with a solid second in a 2970m maiden steeplechase at Hanshin, beaten 1.75 lengths. Sure to be about the mark.
