SEIUN DESEO (10) turned in a fair effort at Fukushima over 1200m at her last run 11 weeks ago, finishing sixth and beaten 2.5 lengths. Has raced against much better horses than this in previous preps. Should be right in the finish. JENNIFER (16) is back from a break of 11 weeks. Closed last campaign with a narrow defeat over 1200m at Fukushima. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. MAGNESIA BRICK (6) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his only appearance last prep at Niigata over 1000m on October 25. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. One of the main contenders. LUCERO AZZURRI (1) last appeared on November 22 when a good fifth over 1200m at Fukushima, beaten 2 lengths. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
