FOOD MAN (9) missed the frame when resuming from a break last time out, finishing fifth and beaten 6 lengths over 1200m at Kyoto. Has a solid second-up record and should be fitter with a run under the belt. Expected to feature. COUNTER SEVEN (13) turned in a fine effort to win by half a length at this track and distance last start in a much-improved run. Taking on a better field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. HOLLYWOOD MEMORY (12) returns from a spell of nine weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when tenth over 1200m at Kyoto. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Not to be discounted.
