KOSEKI (5) returns from a spell of 11 weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when ninth over 1200m at Kyoto. Has a superb record here at the journey with two wins and a 100% top-three strike rate. Will be hard to stop. TAURUS SHINE (2) resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on May 3, finishing 16th and beaten 11 lengths over 1200m at Kyoto. Lining up today for the first time for trainer Tomoyasu Sakaguchi. Should settle handy in the run and will prove tough to beat. JUN VIN QUETE (12) has had two runs since a break, the latest a fourth over 1200m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has never been out of the placings at the third run in so a top-three finish is on the cards. BABY KISS (10) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. Should be cherry-ripe. Must be respected.
