COSMO STORM (1) followed an unplaced effort first-up two runs back with a third last start over 1700m at this track. Heading the right way and appeals as the one to beat. WIDE KRIEGER (2) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 4 lengths back in fifth over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. Expected to be in this for a long way. HOSHO MARIS (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1700m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths into fourth after being in contention on the bend. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. TAMAMO NAPOLI (6) strode forward early from her wide draw last start over 1700m at this track then fought on gamely to finish second. Hard to beat this time.
