CHARM GENEVE (2) is the fresh horse with the most scope, resuming after one Sapporo NEWCOMER run where she was eighth behind Ho O Prema and unwanted in the market. The bare margin was plain, but this is a modest exposed set and barrier 2 gives her a clean chance to show what that debut taught her. KANHIZAKURA (5) owns the best placing record, with two minors from eight starts and one placing from two tries at the distance, though the latest second was still a 30-length defeat behind T O Berry after being near the top of betting. ANNA MOE (4) was also respected last start and her fifth, beaten eight lengths by Alreve, reads better than the distant Chukyo Dirt run prior. MOCHIRON KOKURA (3) has fitness on side fourth-up, but sixth by over 13 lengths behind Alreve and an earlier long-odds last at Nakayama leave her requiring a clear step forward.
