ALREVE (3) has the most persuasive winning case after scoring at this track last start, beating M T Rouge by a length despite being only an outside chance in the betting. The first run at Nakayama was plain, but the switch to this venue produced a far better effort and the winning rider stays aboard, so he looks the one to beat. M T ROUGE (5) is the logical danger on exposed consistency, with a second and third from her past two and a strong overall place profile, though she does have to turn around that recent result. TYREMENT (1) comes through a decisive last-start win over Shiba Fuji and has been in the quinella at both starts at this track, making him a genuine threat if the 1580m holds no fears. PEACE BLOSSOM (2) has the weakest recent form of the selected runners, beaten a long way at her past two, but a previous track win and a leading jockey booking give her some rebound claims at the wider end.
