QUEEN KOTCHAN (8) has the clearest winning platform after a C2 win at this track, where she beat Charity Chalice by a neck and again showed her liking for 1400m. Her narrow third to Meiner Etretat two starts back also reads well, and two wins with one placing from six starts at this track and distance make her the one they have to beat. BURST OF COLOUR (9) comes through a last-start third at big odds, working home evenly behind Salta La Linda, and his record at the distance gives him a solid each-way base despite a modest winning strike rate. RYUNO ARTIST (10) is still winless, which is the obvious reservation, but she picked up nicely when sixth behind Grace Rouge and has placed five times at this distance. DIVERSITY (6) has been safely held by margins lately, yet both recent runs contained late work and his broader 1400m profile keeps him in the minor-money discussion.
