DAISHIN ARES (3) has returned in good shape this preparation. Opened with a second at Sonoda two starts back then scored by 5 lengths as favourite last time out over 1400m at Sonoda. Meeting a tougher field but on current form he is one of the chief contenders. MISTRAL PINK (2) did a great job to score by 3 lengths over this course and distance last start which was an improvement on the first-up run. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is capable of another big performance. CRESCO THUNDER (7) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last time over 1400m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. GLEAM STAR (5) opened this prep with a win then was not as effective last time out when seventh over 1400m at this track, beaten 11 lengths. Worth another chance.
