MEISHO SHOOT (7) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 3 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Fitter and sure to run well. CHARIS PEARL (3) was well in commission last start over 1400m at this track when third, beaten 3.5 lengths. Nice alley and can make amends. BEST OF KING (1) lines up for the first time since October 2. Looking to emulate his win at Sonoda at the beginning of last prep. Looks a strong top-three prospect. TAIKI CHRONICLE (10) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 1400m at Sonoda, beaten only a neck. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
