WONDER AUMENT (1) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when third over 1400m at this track when he was handy all the way. Well placed and looks a top contender. SHINING GIFT (2) got the prize two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 1400m at Sonoda. Well placed and can make amends. IROMEGANE (5) missed the frame last time when fourth at Sonoda. Prior to that had been in the money on two consecutive occasions. Watch for a much better run. NATURAL (4) turned in a modest performance when fifth last time out over 1400m at this track after a win at Sonoda at the previous outing. One of the main hopes.
