STEPS AHEAD (2) bounced back to form last start over the mile at Sha Tin when sitting handy and was only caught in the dying stages of the race. He loses Purton, but can put himself on the speed despite the sticky gate. Racing in good order and can play a leading role once again. JUMBO LEGEND (8) comes back to this track and trip where he's has good success previously. He was 3L away most recently over 1800m last time out and the wide draw doesn't hurt as he gets back anyway. Blinkers go back on and he can return to his best form. REGAL GEM (7) was too good last start and profiles beautifully for a race like this. His recent trial was very impressive and now Purton hops on board. The step up to 1650m is the query, but if he can handle the rise in trip then he'll be very hard to beat. HELENE FEELING (1) was too good over 1800m here last start and can repeat the dose back in trip now.
