ACE CHAMPION (1) is the one to beat after making it two wins from two runs this campaign at this track, most recently beating All Out For Six by just over a length despite covering ground into the straight. His track-and-distance record is a major asset and Vincent Ho has an excellent association with him. CALIFORNIA BLITZ (10) has the right profile to improve third-up, with Zac Purton taking over and a strong record at this track and distance giving him a genuine winning platform despite two plain recent finishes. ALL OUT FOR SIX (4) was sent out favourite when second to Ace Champion last start and had to wait for clear running around the turn, so he is entitled to remain in the main discussion. IT IS YOU (6) is the fresh element, unbeaten from one start after a well-supported Gawler Mdn win, and he has enough upside to be a serious player if he brings that form across.
