GLORIOUS JOURNEY (3) won impressively two back before a 1.8L defeat here last time out when a $3.40 chance. Drawn inside again today, but should be able to hold a closer position in the run this time around. Ho sticks and he can go one better this time around. FORTUNE STAR (6) was in good touch prior to his last start where he settled out the back and never features in the finish. Back to 1650m this time can see him return to form as he looks for his maiden win. Likely to get back once again but should be flying late in the race. SHINKANSEN (12) finished off well over this course and distance behind a big winner last start and has to be included with improvement likely. NOBLE PURSUIT (2) didn't have the best of luck last start when wide and without cover. Bowman sticks with him though and an improved run is on the cards.
