SPARTAN X (13) showed early speed from a good draw and led until entering the straight last start, eventually holding on for second and beaten 1.75 lengths over 1800m at this track. Expected to be in this for a long way. KING'S TALE (12) returns after three months in the paddock. Commenced last prep with a minor placing at this track over 1800m. Should be ready for this. ON THE (6) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when fourth over 1700m at Fukushima Dirt eight weeks ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well.
