ALM APOGEE (15) is close to breaking through, last start finishing just a neck away in second over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt after being prominent from the outset. Should race just off the speed despite the wide draw. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. NAMURA RODIN (10) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 1200m at Niigata Dirt after being in the firing line on the corner. As honest as they come so expect another big run. BISCUIT ASSORT (5) is a five-start maiden who resumed from a spell last start and was beaten 9 lengths when seventh over 1200m at Niigata Dirt. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration. SHINE GOAT (12) was in contention on the bend and finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1200m at Kyoto Dirt, beaten 2.75 lengths. Hard to beat with that run under the belt.
