ECORO RADA (8) has not raced since he drifted back on debut three-and-a-half months ago then wound up nicely to finish third over 1600m at Hanshin. Likely improver and looks well placed to be in the finish again. POKAPOKA YOKI (3) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 2000m at Chukyo when third, beaten 5 lengths. Will benefit from that experience so he shouldn't be a maiden for long. MAKOTO BLITZ (2) turned in a moderate debut over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt on August 16 when he was safely held in ninth, 21 lengths from the winner. Plenty of scope for improvement. One of the main contenders. LANDS END (6) wasn't beaten far over 1200m at Niigata Dirt on debut last start and may appreciate the longer journey. Has upside and can measure up.
