LEGEND MASTER (2) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 1.5 lengths over 1200m at this track. Open to plenty of improvement and is a great chance to get the prize again. EYE LEADS (3) made progress last time out, finishing 4.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1500m at Kawasaki after being prominent at the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. SAMOA NO KAIJIN (4) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1400m at Urawa, beaten 2 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is good enough to take this out. MOERE SAWAN MIYAGI (10) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in sixth last time out over 1800m at Ohi on December 26. Back-marker who keeps coming. Will be doing his best work late.
