Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1800m at Ohi. Has a solid first-up record of two wins and two placings from seven starts. Capable of playing a major role. EIFER BATTLE (13) has missed the frame at his last couple of outings, the latest when eighth over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Big class drop today and can atone. LOVELY VIEW (2) returned from a spell last start with a modest fifth over 1800m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has a solid record at this venue with seven wins from 20 starts. Masashige Honda who has scored on him eight times retains the mount. Open to improvement.
