LE CHARMEUR (2) ran on strongly only to just miss first-up as favourite last start over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt. Will take a lot from that hitout. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Ready to finally win one. MATENRO KANALOA (4) held on well to finish second last start over 1700m at this track, beaten a neck, as favourite. Going well this prep - anticipating another big run. OKEN SILVER (12) finished just a nose from the winner in second last start over 1700m at this track after racing in the leading division. Drawn out but can cross. Has his share of ability and looms as a genuine contender. KOKODE IKKU (10) was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth in a 1900m contest at Chukyo Dirt four weeks ago. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
