VENTURA (16) is progressing well this preparation. Opened with a fourth at Kokura two starts back then landed the prize by 0.8 lengths as public elect last time out after being in contention on the corner over 1200m at Chukyo. Meeting a deeper field this time but she deserves plenty of thought. VENT VIVE (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a spell last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 1200m at this track. Well placed and can find winning ways. WINSTON (4) is progressing well this preparation. Opened with a fifth at Kokura two starts back then landed the prize by 3 lengths last time out after being in the firing line on the turn over 1200m at this track. Meets a stronger line-up but he is worth serious consideration. CHEVEUXBLONDSREVRE (14) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1200m at Kokura, beaten 2 lengths. In the mix.
