CHACHACOMANI (5) brings the clearest recent pointer after resuming with a second at Niigata Dirt, beaten a neck by Kalla as favourite. She is lightly raced, already has a win and a placing from three starts around 1700m, and her first-up effort gives her the right platform to go one better. PLAYMAKER (15) resumes after eight months but has solid ALLOW form from Nakayama Dirt, including a half-length second to Tenka Muteki and a fourth to Strong Ace when near the top of betting. ROUGE BONITO (2) is another fresh runner with substance, having won a Mdn by five lengths before being run down into second at Sapporo Dirt as favourite. ANRI BABY (14) is fit third-up and comes off a two-length second at Kyoto Dirt, with her consistent placing profile making her a genuine danger if she converts that reliability into a sharper winning finish.
