A SHIN TEASER (3) resumes. Closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Hanshin ten weeks ago. Sure to feature in a race lacking in depth of quality. The mystery runner is MEISHO MATROOS (2) who looks to launch this prep the way he ended the last two years ago when he scored over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Should be tough to beat if forward enough. TAISEI DORADO (10) was well held in the race won by Luxor Cafe over 1600m at Tokyo Dirt at his last appearance 18 months ago. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Can play a big role despite the long absence. KEN FIELD (13) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, beaten 8 lengths into ninth. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
