Should camp just off the leaders and looks a serious threat. SHIRANUI (9) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing ninth over 1200m in the G3 AOI Stakes at Kyoto 11 weeks ago which was the only run of that prep. Has a strong record when resuming, including two wins. Will give backers a great sight. MONT SAINT GOLDEN (4) won at Kyoto two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing 12th over 1200m at Hakodate. One for the exotics.
