TAUMUTU LAD (6) was a winner from the back row three back and was good again last start when he came from a similar barrier to this and finished third at Mt Harding. Finds a nice race and may prove tough to beat. COMMANDER JOE (11) may need some luck from this draw but but did a good job for a respectable second in a better line-up at his most recent appearance at Addington. DON JUAN (5) is a player after turning in a strong effort last start to come from the back row and finish third at Addington. KOTARE RATA (2) was down the track last time but recorded a string of top-two finishes prior. Draws well so worth another chance. MIGHTY FLYING LOU (10) finished fourth at his most recent outing at Mt Harding and won the only time he attempted this circuit and distance.
