CARLIN (3) was a standing start winner at Mt Harding last month and has been competitive in most outings since. Kept the ball rolling last time when runner-up. Has the benefit of a more favourable starting position so could return to the winners' list. ARCHER (4) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at this circuit and distance. Should be at peak fitness now so could go one better. DOCTOR TIM (10) switches to a standing start but is racing well with placings in his last two outings. QUICKER THE BETTOR (8) broke the maiden at Mt Harding last start and has more upside than many of these so may take the next step.
