THE STEEL DRAGON (4) had to do some work from this barrier here last start but boxed on fourth. Had recorded back-to-back placings prior including a second from this draw here two back. Close to a win and is suited dropping to a distance where he has recorded three wins and two placings from seven attempts. MEDINA (8) hasn't raced since he broke in the SA Derby three-and-a-half months ago but owns a good strike rate. Expecting a strong return. ARCHIE MOTH (6) is looming as a threat after a couple of close-up efforts, last start finishing third at Charlton. HITTHEROADJACK (3) has drawn to advantage and will be fitter for recent racing so could give backers a sight.
