QUIRKY CHARACTER (11) continues a run of second row draws but his form from there has been strong, returning to the winners' list last time when getting home by 1.2m. Has won two of three attempts at this circuit. Can strike again. CHARLESTON AVENUE (9) put two wins together, one of them from this barrier, before he worked to the front and fought well to be edged out by a nose in a higher-graded race at Bendigo last time. Goes well at this distance. Big chance. HODY MOKE (4) put the writing on the wall with back-to-back seconds before he came from a similar draw to this and pushed to the front before scoring by 2.7m at Kilmore last time. Could go on with it. ABBIE (1) drew much wider when midfield here last time and recorded three wins and a placing from the previous four starts. Respect from the ace draw. MAJESTIC TOOTH (2) has been racing consistently and draws to be competitive again.
